More about Kay Johnston
Kay Johnston is Manager of Russell & Jeffcoat Realtors’ St. Andrews office, located at 459 St. Andrews Road. Kay is a native South Carolinian, raised in Orangeburg. At the age of 18, she decided to take off for the Big Apple. Here she met her husband of 33 years, Wayne. Wayne was in the U.S. Army, stationed with the Armed Forces Police. During Wayne’s military career, they lived in Germany, Indiana, Nebraska, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina. They traveled across the United States with the Army Public Information Department. Kay was primarily a stay-at-home mom for their three children—Stephanie, Steven, and Andrea.

In 1984, Kay decided to enter the real estate world. In 1988, she joined Russell & Jeffcoat Realtors as the assistant manager of the “new” Irmo office. After a time spent with another company, she came “home” to Russell & Jeffcoat in 1997 to become Manager of the St. Andrews office.

In her spare time, Kay enjoys traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kay is committed to a high level of client service, not only from all of her agents, but from her Administrative Assistants as well. She is involved in all aspects of training and is very supportive of all the agents who work in the St. Andrews office. She likes the support offered to the managers and agents from the Russell & Jeffcoat Relocation Department, Support Services Division, Career Services, and the in-house training, which includes sessions with national speakers. She enjoys seeing agents succeed, learn, and change their lives by becoming successful.
