More about Dan Pater
Dan Pater is the manager of our Columbia East office, located at 3722 Devine Street. He brings extensive experience in both sales and management to this position. Originally from North Florida, Dan joined the Air Force after graduating from Georgia Tech. After completing Officer Training School he began what was to become a 26 year career as an Air Force officer. His career took him to many different assignments throughout the United States and overseas to the South Atlantic, England, Germany and the Mid-East for Operation Desert Storm. While in the Air Force he earned a Masters in Business Administration Degree. He retired from the Air Force in the early 90s.

Dan joined Russell & Jeffcoat in 1992, quickly becoming one of its top sales agents. In 1997 he became the assistant manager of the company’s Forest Acres office. With the experience gained from this position he was selected to lead the Columbia East office in 1999.

Dan was appointed Director of Training in 2003 and has been instrumental in the expansion and improvement of the company’s training programs.

He and his wife, Mary Ann, have lived in Columbia for 12 years. They have a married daughter and a grandson who live in Atlanta. Dan’s interests include golfing, skiing, cooking, art, history and community service. He is the current president of the Columbia Lions Club and an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Air Force Association.

His door is always open for both agents and their clients, where his caring nature quickly becomes evident. He takes great pride in the training he provides to new agents entering his office and in the professionalism and success of his entire sales team.
