More about Bob Galiano
Bob Galiano is the broker-in-charge for the Sumter office of Russell & Jeffcoat Realtors, located at 2577 Broad Street. In less than two years, Bob has led this office to the top of Sumter's real estate community. The Sumter office opened in September, 2003, with just 6 agents. Our Sumter office now has 35 agents, making it the fastest growing real estate business in town! Bob's career in real estate spans 30 years, with over 27 years in marketing and development of commercial and investment real estate, as president of Bomar Development and Investment Corporation and Galiano & Associates. He holds the professional designations of Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) and Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI). He is also a member of the CCIM Institute.

Bob has served in several capacities for the National Association of Realtors®. Since 1996 he served as a member of the Executive Committee and on the Board of Directors. Bob was the 2004 Regional Vice President for NAR and presently serves as Senior Vice President Liaison to Committee for Public Policies & Federal, State Issues Group.

As a leader in the Sumter community, Bob is a member of Sumter's City Council, past President of the Sumter Palmetto Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow and has served on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, the Municipal Association of SC, and is the current president of the Regional Development Corporation for a four county area.

Bob was also appointed to serve on the State's Smart Growth Task Force by the Governor of South Carolina.

Bob says that one of his proudest moments came when his peers honored him as the 2001 Realtor of the Year by the South Carolina Association, an association he served as President in 1996 and is a Life Member of the Board of Directors.

He resides in Sumter with his wife, Jeanne. They have five grown children which have given him ten grandchildren. Needless to say all of Bob's spare time is spent spoiling grandkids!
